1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bassfinity ("Service"), operated by Bassfinity ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Bassfinity provides AI-powered fishing tools and resources, including but not limited to:

Solunar fishing forecasts and predictions
Fish species identification tools (BassLens)
Ice fishing safety tools (IceLens)
User profiles and catch logging
Educational fishing content

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including photos, catch data, and profile information ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Content Responsibilities

You agree not to post content that:

Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
Is fraudulent or misleading
Violates the privacy of others
Promotes illegal activities, including poaching or fishing violations

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the Service to spam or harass others

The Service, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Bassfinity and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

"Bassfinity," "BassLens," "IceLens," "SolunarBass," and our logos are trademarks of Bassfinity. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services (Google, Discord, etc.) for authentication or other features. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
Solunar predictions or fishing forecasts will guarantee fishing success
AI-powered identifications (BassLens, IceLens) will be 100% accurate

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASSFINITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Fishing Safety Disclaimer

Our tools, including IceLens for ice thickness assessment, are for informational purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for safety decisions. Always exercise personal judgment, follow local regulations, check current conditions, and consult local authorities before engaging in any fishing activities. We are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from fishing activities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bassfinity and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon deletion:

Your account enters a 30-day recovery period
You can recover your account within 30 days by logging in
After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bassfinity regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
